Ten greyhounds left the Caliente racetrack and are now part of the Greyhound Adoption Center's adoption program. We brought in five girls and five boys on a rainy Saturday and introduced them to our kennel facility, gave them baths and new beds with toys and rawhides and soft blankets.

For the dogs' new names, we chose a "Canada" theme in honor of the Winter Olympics host country:

the girls: Ottawa, Winnipeg, Maple Leaf, Geese, Montreal

the boys: Quebec, Molson, Hockey, Whistler and Calgary
