In a recent e-newsletter, GAC's Scoop, we wrote about several senior dogs who came back to us because of different circumstances in their respective adoptive homes. People had such a great response that most of them found their new homes.

Here's the round-up of dogs leaving our rescue center this weekend:
Today, Thriller, who came to GAC from Caliente last July 4th, went to his home in San Diego. As you may recall Thriller had a badly broken leg and had multiple surgeries to help repair it. This is great news for this big black greyhound.
Also, Watts, one of our senior greyhounds who recently returned to GAC, left for his home today with a GAC volunteer. Ten-year-old Watts,a handsome dark brindle boy, is living now in San Diego with Toots (GAC's Maizee)and kitties.
Tomorrow, two of our other senior returned greyhounds, both eight years old, go to homes. White with brindle boy Anthony travels to Las Vegas to live with Codee (GAC's Joker), and brindle boy Big Sur is going to a San Diego area home with GAC adopters/volunteers and other greyhounds.
Monday, Graham, a four-year-old ex-racer who we took in from another rescue group (also featured in The Scoop), goes to his home in Orange County with adopters who have two of our other greyhounds: GAC's Starlight and Palisade (now Quinn).
Stilts, another tall brindle boy who came back to GAC with Big Sur, went to a foster home the other day with longtime GAC adopters/foster parents.
Thanks to all the special people for taking in these "special" dogs!
