Kalin
Kalin came from Kansas to Arizona then to GAC, arriving on Dec. 12th with two other dogs. He was born April, 2011, and to our knowledge, was lucky to have never raced. He's a beautiful, big male, weighing in at 77.5 pounds and is great with people. He now lives in a condo with a dog door and run which he seems to like and does well with his group of boys for turnout. He'll be small dog, cat and kid tested soon.

Catelyn
Catelyn arrived at GAC on March 15th with fifteen other dogs all the way from Kansas. Catelyn eventually got a condo with a run which took a bit of time for her to get comfortable. This momma of two was born May 2007. At her first vet visit, she weighed in at 65lbs., a very good weight for this nice girl. Cate is now housed in a kennel, which she seems to like. She'll be cat, small dog and child tested soon. She's on the schedule for dental and spay, then she'll be ready for adoption!

Ruby
RUBY is a beautiful red girl, born 7/23/06, one of ten in her litter. Her career most likely ended by a broken leg, which no one bothered to repair correctly, so she's mostly a three legger, her rear leg is crooked but usable.
Ruby came from Caliente 2/11/12 and was immediately taken to the ER for evaluation. Her break was too old to repair, so she came back to the kennel without treatment. At this point the unions appear to be mature. We do not recommend any further therapy rather than rest.
Ruby has been with us for over a year. She does get to go on the Lake walk each month and gets special time out at the kennel. She also gets to go out with 10 year old Gloss in the green space every turnout, then with her turnout group.
When Ruby she sees people she knows and likes, she gets all wiggly and GRINS! It is just too cute and sweet.

Josh
Josh arrived December 2012 with his sister Mara and our other current sponsor boy, Kalin. They all came from Kansas. Josh was born August 19, 2011. Josh and Mara are by far the shyest dogs at the kennel, they are clueless about walking on leash and are reluctant to be hooked up. It's a challenge to even get them gently by the collars to take them to the turnout area. There is a lot of work ahead to help these sweet souls become comfortable with people. Josh and Mara share a large condo with a large run area and learned the dog door quickly. Josh is dog social and does well in his turnout group.
